Frequently Asked Questions
How does Tapcheck integrate with Workforce.com
Tapcheck connects directly to your Workforce.com account via API. We pull time and attendance data to calculate earned wages in real time. At the end of your pay period, any advanced amounts are automatically reconciled through your normal payroll run — no manual exports, no separate bank accounts.
Does this cost my company anything?
No. Tapcheck is completely free for employers. Employees pay a small flat fee per transfer — similar to an ATM fee — to access their wages early. There are no interest charges, subscriptions, or hidden costs passed to the employer.
Will this change our payroll process?
Not at all. Tapcheck works within your existing pay periods and payroll cycle. We fund employee wage advances from our own balance sheet and reconcile at your regular payroll run. Your Workforce.com workflow stays exactly the same.
What if an employee leaves before their advance is repaid?
Tapcheck absorbs the risk. If an employee's final paycheck doesn't cover an outstanding advance, Tapcheck handles the recovery — not your business. Your exposure is zero.
How long does setup take?
Getting started with the benefit takes less than 30 minutes. Roll it out to employees in as little as two weeks.
Is Tapcheck compliant in my state?
Tapcheck is compliant with state EWA regulations and holds required state licenses.
On-demand pay: the benefit employees actually want
Earned Wage Access (EWA) gives employees financial freedom. It provides safe and easy access to wages they've already earned before payday arrives — no interest, no debt spirals. Just their own money, when they need it.
